Sellfy goes further than most sellers realise
The theme settings in your dashboard are the floor, not the ceiling. Sellfy stores accept custom code, which means pages and features that are not part of the platform out of the box.
On Uriland Studio, a children's book store, that meant a custom-coded jigsaw puzzle game on its own page, built from the book's own illustrations. It is free to play, it remembers your progress, and it exists to bring people to the store who were not searching for a book yet.
Alongside it: custom-coded modules to make the store behave properly across phones, tablets and desktops, extra pages Sellfy does not provide by default, and a custom domain on the front.

What it costs
Most Sellfy stores: €120 – €300
(incl. VAT)
Where you land depends on how many pages you have and how much is changing. Typical work runs 4–10 hours. You get a fixed quote before anything starts — no open meter, no surprise invoice.
This is separate from the €25/month managed website plan on the main site. Sellfy work is quoted as a one-off piece of work on your own store.
How it works, and what I need from you
I would rather be plain about the split than have it come up halfway through:
- You load your products. Adding and organising your catalogue stays with you — you know your products and your pricing. Coming from another platform, I will help as far as I can to reproduce the look and structure of your old store, but the products themselves are yours to load.
- You write the words. Product titles, descriptions and the text on your pages come from you, and should be ready before the build starts. Waiting on copy is the most common reason a store build stalls.
- I build everything around it. Design, layout, custom code, domain, structure, SEO — the parts that need a developer.
One requirement: custom code needs any paid Sellfy plan. It is not available on the free tier, which is the one case where I genuinely cannot help. Send me your store address and I will check before you commit to anything.

Can a Sellfy store actually be customized?
Yes, considerably further than most sellers realise. Beyond the built-in theme settings, a Sellfy store accepts custom code, which means custom layouts, extra pages and features that are not part of Sellfy out of the box. Which Sellfy plan do I need?
Any paid plan. Custom code is not available on the free tier, so that is the one case where I cannot help. If you are unsure which plan you are on, tell me your store address and I will check before you commit to anything.
How long does Sellfy customization take?
Most stores take between 4 and 10 hours of work, depending on how many pages you have and how much is being changed. That usually means a few days rather than weeks.
