How Much Does a Website Cost in Malta?
Most Malta web studios will not publish a price. Here are ours, in full, with what changes them — plus a calculator that points you at the right package in about ten seconds.

Answer four questions. This points you at the package that fits and shows the real price, including what 18% VAT adds. Anything that needs a custom quote is listed separately rather than guessed at.
An estimate, not a quote. The real number depends on your content and how much of it exists already.
What actually moves the price
- Number of pages. Each page is design, copy layout and testing on phone and desktop.
- Selling online. Products, payment setup and checkout testing. Card payments bring their own rules.
- Bookings. A contact form is simple. Live availability with payment is a different job.
- Your content. Having text and photos ready is the single biggest saving. Waiting on content is what stalls most builds.
- A second language. It roughly doubles the pages to build and maintain.
- Who looks after it afterwards. A cheap build with no care plan tends to cost more in year two.
VAT, and what you actually pay
Malta's standard VAT rate is 18%. Every price we publish excludes it, so you can compare like with like against quotes that do the same.
In practice: a €600 setup is €708 with VAT, €450 is €531, and €40 a month is €47.20. If your business is VAT-registered in Malta you will normally reclaim it.
Common questions
How much does a website cost in Malta?
It depends on how many pages you need and whether you sell online. At Nebula Digital a Starter Site is from €250 setup plus €25 a month, a Professional Site is from €600 setup plus €40 a month, and an E-commerce Ready store is from €450 setup plus €35 a month. All prices exclude VAT.
Why do some quotes look much cheaper?
Usually because they are a template with your text dropped in, or because hosting, updates and support are billed separately afterwards. Ask what happens in month two: who hosts it, who renews the domain and who changes a price on the site when you need it.
Is VAT included in these prices?
No. Every price on this page excludes VAT. Malta's standard VAT rate is 18%, so a €600 setup is €708 including VAT, and €40 a month is €47.20.
Do I pay monthly forever?
The monthly fee covers hosting, updates, security and support, so it continues while the site is live. It is not a payment plan for the build - the setup fee covers the build.
What is not included?
Your domain name if you do not already own one, paid stock photography, and any third-party plan such as Sellfy's own subscription, which you pay to Sellfy directly.
